My child held his pen or pencil like he was going to stab someone. 😆 After almost a year of writing in Preschool and really not seeing any improvement, I said enough is enough we need something different. This picture is his first day with it and he is holding the pen correctly! He even got some of the letters in the line perfectly (when he wasn't pushing down so hard) but each time he did a good letter he went to run and show his dad 😊 he wanted to get a sticker for his good work too! He found the disappearing ink to be a race of sorts lol. So it didn't bother either of us! Overall I like these books and really like that they offer a drawing book because his drawings... yikes lol so now he can learn and gain confidence and I can feel like a better parent teaching him!

I kept trying to get my son to trace letters and he just did not understand. I finally bought these and wow! What a difference. He is learning how to control his pen and hold it correctly and can now fully trace in his own. He’s doing such a good job. My son is 3.5 years old for reference.

This is awesome for toddlers. The little finger guides although may be useful they are very small.

I got this for my just turned 3 year old. It’s not easy for him but that’s good. I want him to have really good practice! We homeschool and it’s a great book for him to begin with! My 4 year old loves to help him and can easily work with him to instruct him on how to do it.

My son enjoys practicing in these books. Only think I would have liked was if the rubber part had inserts for the fingers to help hold the pen correctly.

I love that it has loads of activities I can use this Christmas for my 3 and a half year old.

I began homeschooling my 3 year old & this has helped TREMENDOUSLY. This makes it more fun for him, he loves to color & learn!
